Ringwood Strata Management

Desmond Fernandes is the Owners Corporation Manager of Ace Body Corporate Management (Ringwood), and is a member of Strata Community Australia (SCA) Victoria.

Desmond Fernandes has a versatile background in Information Systems, primarily in the banking sector, and has extensive experience in IT management, project management, systems implementation, and consulting. Desmond is well travelled and has held assignments and postings in the UK, Africa, Middle East, and Asia. Among his various positions, he has been a Vice President with an International Bank, and Senior Consultant with a Management Consultant firm representing one of the Big Five.

He holds a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Mathematics, as well as Certifications in Information Systems Auditing (CISA) and Project Management (PMP).

Desmond has played an active role in social and community affairs and has been a Board/Committee Member of a number of organisations including a community hospital, a social and health welfare association, the parish council, neighborhood watch and professional chapters. As an Executive Committee member of the Owners Corporation of the Apartment Block, where he used to reside, Desmond gained considerable insight into the running of such bodies.

Married, with one daughter, Desmond interests include music, reading, international sports esp. cricket, and bonsai.
