Michael Pittam is the Body Corporate Manager of Ace Body Corporate Management (Logan), and is a member of Strata Community Australia (SCA) Queensland.
Prior to working as a Body Corporate Manager, Michael has been self- employed for 14 years operating his own businesses, including property management and business SME sales.
For the past 12 year’s he has practiced as a senior business Intermediary, a qualified Accountant (FIPA), with extensive experience in the Commercial and Finance industries for over twenty-five years. Additionally, he been a Resident Unit Manager, operating and owning a successful Management Rights business in Brisbane, comprising 60 units for 4 years and sold in 2006, to focus on business sales.

Michael has a strong interest in property and business management as well as customer service, which prompted a career change to body corporate strata management.
Michael acts as committee member on several Body Corporates for investments he owns and appreciates the issues owner-occupiers and investors face having owned units as owner-occupier and others as an investor. He also understands the types of issues that can challenge body corporates, having been actively involved in the committees for these properties. (Both residential and commercial complexes)

Over the past three years Michael Pittam has worked as the Body Corporate Manager for Ace Body Corporate Management (Logan). As a lot owner and past Secretary Committee Member, I worked closely with Michael on a range of initiatives to manage the complex to a high standard. "As the President/treasurer for the Body Corporate I would highly recommend Michael Pittman and Ace Body Corporate Management (Logan).
The Body Corporate was set up by the developer at completion of construction of our unit complex in May 2017. At this time the developer appointed Strata Services Qld, based in Bundaberg to run our Body Corporate. From day 1 their services left a lot of answered questions. There was no attention to detail, they did not follow the correct Body Corporate procedure and were slow and sometimes not at all in responding to enquiries just to name a few.
The committee decided to take matters into their own hands and issued remedial action notices to SSQ who still did not attend to the issues at hand. The committee approached Ace Body Corporate to take over the management of our Body Corporate.
Since Michael had taken over as Body Corporate Manager we have had no issues. Michael has been able to get us back on track, managing property issues and regulatory compliance.
We can highly recommend Michael Pittman who has turned around the management of our property with lower Body Corporate levies and full transparency of body corporate matters.
